C&P 2.4 - and 2.45!

**EDIT** Wow! I never actually published the 2.4 update post, that's my mistake! I'll lead with that draft, but I've now also put up 2.45!

This is a quick one, but a very exciting one: the HA Tametomo and the SSC Sicklewing now have new art done by the incredible @SkyCrimeDraws! His commissions are open and he's a dream to work with, it's been so exciting watching him bring these designs to life. Accompanying them is the Tametomo's iconic pilot, Argos Laverre, Red Right Hand of the Armory's 17th Legion. The art is now up to date in the pdf and the lcp, and I also crunched the icons the lcp loads so they should render both faster and with better fidelity at that resolution.
Aside from this (very exciting) change, there are two quick bullet changes:

  • The PI-OF Basil's Pioneer Beacon core power now clears conditions at the start of character's turns, as it was pointed out that a majority of conditions clear at EoT anyway, and especially for features like Jammed or Stunned that would have the most impact it would never actually clear them in time.
  • Changed capitalization of NPC damage types in the LCP which shouldn't change anything on C/C but should allow GMs using the Foundry module to properly display the damage icons - I don't personally use Foundry and can't test the lcp import with it, so if you encounter any similar issues please let me know!

And finally, check out my other new project Coldcore Coliseum, a new Lancer supplement centered on combat sports and tournaments. It comes with 6 new player mechs (2 alt frames and 4 new mechs from K/KCA, a bespoke Baronic mech atelier), 5 special 'ICONIC' NPCs, and new mechanics for players and GMs to explore fame and glory hunting.

That's it for now! Have fun pilots!

2.45 Additional Changelog
Thanks to the wonderful efforts of Tetra from PilotNet I've been able to clean up the lcp even more and fix the discrepancies between it and the pdf, as well as fix some residual formatting issues. Most of this just means better parity between lcp and pdf - as always the pdf is the gold standard, so if there's anything that still doesn't agree, the pdf has the right version.

Actual changes of note:

  • Returned the Peppercorn to being size 1/2 instead of size 1. While the move to size 1 had good reasons behind it it's never quite sat right with me, and I've reverted it to assuage my brainworms. This makes it a bit more vulnerable to engagement (but it can ignore that with a trait), and makes it a better use of Jager Kunst, but this is fine by me.
  • The nanite hives applied by Parvati now actually list how they can be removed (engineering save as a quick action).
  • Glacier Lake's speed reduction has been clarified that it stacks, but all reduction is removed with a single save
  • Clarified the heat gain on the Vector's Colossus Quiver to be the full number, not just the 1d3 result.
  • Clarified how the Pyre's Degradation Field's healing reduction worked with an example.
  • Clarified reinforcements in the Sabotage sitrep

And again, a huge shoutout to Sky's art!!!
